Born and bred in Wellington and with a background in the motoring industry, my wife and I moved to the Waikato on the day the Springbok game was cancelled in 1981.
In 1995 I joined NZI Life and have worked in the financial services industry since then. I am enthusiastic about assisting my clients to make the best decision possible when it comes to their insurance needs.
I am currently a member of the Financial Advice New Zealand, ensuring I continue with professional education to keep me up to date with evolving industry trends. I am also a Past President of Financial Advisers (IFA).
I have been an active Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Waikato Sunrise since 2005 and was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow in 2012 and 2018. As a Rotarian, I adhere to the principles of Rotary and look to see that all my actions, business and personal, fit within the Four Way Test:
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Outside of work I am a keen golfer (although a bit of a hacker), and my wife and I love water sports. Over the years we’ve held positions within the Karapiro Water Ski Club, including my three-year term as President in the early 90s.
We also enjoy walking and I’m avid fan of Formula 1 motor racing and also the Australian Supercars.
